Supply of a maintenance crew for ongoing works under the Road Maintenance Performance Contract with the Department of Transport and Main Roads across various state owned roads across the Isaac Region.

Scope:

• Pothole patching
• Guidepost replacement
• Pavement patching, profiling and remove and replace
• Isolated vegetation clearing (small scale)
• Emulsion sealing
• Shoulder reinstatement
• Culvert repairs
• Bitumen formation edge repairs
• Drainage de-silting and reinstatement
• Inspection work

Challenges/Value Add:

With significant relevant past project experience managing rural road reconstruction contracts, Brown optimised work crew efficiency by utilising innovative traffic management solutions. By using a mobile traffic light setup, Brown was able to maximise productivities with minimal traffic control overhead.
