Insitu Stabilisation of Sealed Pavements caused by Flooding 2021/22.

Scope:

• Traffic Management

• Side track construction

• Excavation

• Subgrade treatment

• Concrete floodway construction

• Signage installation

• Insitu cement stabilisation

• Pavement sealing and linemarking

• Additional 35,000 m² of sealed pavement stabilisation

• Repairs/replacement to drainage structures and landslips

Challenges:

• Spread over a vast area of the GRC

• Successful delivery of additional scope, ahead of schedule (5 months)

• Complex logistics due to terrain and conditions
