Description:
The project will upgrade 2km of single-lane section of road to a two-lane road from the Toowoomba Regional Council boundary east for 2km. This project is jointly funded with Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program (HSVPP) funding from the Australian Government and Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS).
Scope:
Earthworks, drainage, pavement works, new culverts installation, geocomposite installation, bitumen seal.
Challenges:
Wet weather delays, continual changing conditions in black soil plains.
